This self-paced course includes some 16 units, covering all of the core tools that any teacher should know in order to be prepared to use technology in meaningful and appropriate ways in their teaching. Teachers will learn both why and how for each, and will come away with a clear understanding of the tools and the knowledge of how to use them. For group courses arranged with us, participants will have access to the instructors and their knowledge, and will receive feedback on the various projects completed during the course.

The course can be done either in a two-week workshop, over a summer, one semester, or even a full school year, depending on how much time you want to spend.

The course is meant to be done in a two-week, full time workshop. If you are working on the course by yourself, you can take as much time as you need. You should plan on doing no more than 1 or 2 units in a week; if you are taking the course while teaching, you should give yourself 1 week for each unit to get the most out of it. You can do it faster if you want.
None of the content is aimed specifically at teachers of any specific age; instead it is an overview of how technology integration works using specific categories of tools - presentations, CMS, LMS, audio/video, etc. Middle and high school teachers are likely to benefit more directly because of the amount of technology their students can use. Elementary teachers will benefit by learning about the tools and integration in general, but teachers of the younger ages normally have more specific technology needs, not addressed here.
If you are completely comfortable not only with the use of the tools but also with integrating them into your teaching ,then the course may not have much value for you. The course is much more than just the use of the tools, however, so if you are looking to think more about how to integrate technology so that it can transform your teaching and your students' learning, the course may be worthwhile.
