The beauty of smartphone and tablet apps is the mobility; students can take them and use them anywhere. Even apps that require an Internet connection can be used with either a data plan or wifi. As more and more students acquire these tools, their use will become not only more common, but eventually part of every course.

We have not included mobile apps in this course because many students still don't have access. Still, the following list may be of use to you and can certainly be used to offer those students who do have smartphones and tablets some excellent tools.
