In each unit of this course, there are practical tasks to complete - the idea being that users will only truly learn how to use something by actually using it. Working through the course without doing these will yield considerably less meaningful results. Note that, in addition to these tasks, you should plan to reply to at least two of the discussion questions in each unit in the discussion forum, and respond to at least two posts by another student. In other words, engage. Please remember to share your Developer's Notebook with us, and send us the link to the online space - wiki or otherwise - where you will be posting the various things you do.

• Create labels, filters
• Set a custom signature on your Google Gmail account

• Create a Google Slides presentation

Document Creation

• Create a nicely formatted document in Word
• Turn it into a PDF file

• Create a Netvibes RSS Feed reader (OPTIONAL)

Curation

• Create a Diigo account

• Add one of the extensions to your browser (OPTIONAL)

• Create a set of class folders in your Google Drive
• Add a file to one
• Share it
