While the idea of such notebooks can be highly effective for teachers as well as students, the primary purpose here is to encourage students to create lasting resources for themselves, and so this is directed primarily at students. Teachers may want to create one as a model, perhaps taking notes from a college course and retroactively making one for students to view.
